2008 Aprilia SXV550 in very good condition. About the funnest thing on wheels. 6675 miles and increasing. All stock except:
-AF1 single-stage air filter. -Homemade tail tidy with LED taillight (originals included in sale) -Turn signals removed (included with sale) -Bar-end mirror -Painted wheels -Skateboard-wheels-and-threaded-rod axle sliders -Michelin Pilot Power tires Engine rebuilt by Allen Noland (USA's SXV specialist) in early 2014 with new DLC lifter buckets and all bottom-end seals and bearings. Receipt available. 1,100 miles since rebuild and running like a top. New battery on 11/10/2016. Sold with about a gallon of spare Motul, several oil filters and o-rings, and an XV Tuner cable (and software). Bike is located in Rock Hill, SC and for pickup only. Piaggio Reports 2012 Sales Results
Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Piaggio Group reported a 7.3% decrease in net sales and a 9.0% decrease in net profit for 2012, thanks in large part to a sharp decline in demand in Europe including an all-time low for motorcycle sales in Italy. Piaggio reported net sales of 1.406 billion euros (US$1.842 billion) in 2012, down from 1.516 billion euros in 2011. Motorcycles and scooters accounted for net sales of 993.3 million euros (US$1.301 billion), a 3.1% decrease from 1.025 billion euros reported for 2011.

Wed, 16 Feb 2011Remember to dust your Union Jacks down if you happen to be visiting any Grand Prix this year as we have no less than seven youngsters to cheer on in the junior Moto GP classes. I don’t think we’ve ever had this many ‘yoofs’ in the GP paddock so let’s hope they can do the business and bring an end to our long drought of Grand Prix titles. And that could be soon as Scott Redding is already a hot favourite for the 2011 Moto 2 championship on his Marc VDS Suter machine.
2014 Aprilia RSV4 WSBK Livery Revealed – The Silver Fireball
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Aprilia waited until just a few days before the start of the 2014 World Superbike Championship to reveal the livery on its RSV4 Superbike. Most of the other factory teams revealed their liveries weeks ago, but now that we’ve seen the “silver fireball” look the RSV4, we can say the wait was worth it. The new silver look replaces the predominantly red and black look used the past few seasons.
