For sale is a 2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC ABS SBK Special Edition. In English, it's the RSV4 Factory ("racing" version instead of "street"), with Aprilia Performance Ride Control, anti-lock brakes, etc. This is the "special edition" because of the badging celebrating Aprilia's 2012 Superbike World Championship win. It was only available in the USA, and purchased new by the original owner (whom I bought it from) for something around $22,500.
This bike is absolutely perfect in every way. It has under 1,000 miles (unless I really get some riding time in this week), and doesn't have a scratch, blemish, smudge, or anything else on it. It has been sitting in the original owner's garage for three years due to health issues and now has found it's way into my possession. The pictures I've attached don't do it justice. It looks like it just came off the showroom floor, aside from a couple splatters of grease on the wheel from the chain. The Aprilia cover it's stored under is softer than any of the blankets on my bed. If you're looking at this bike you probably know Aprilia already... so I don't have to say it... but I will anyway: This bike sounds like sex. It feels... a lot like sex. It handles better than anything I've ever ridden. The APRC is completely adjustable to whatever conditions or riding style you have. And the best part is that you probably won't come across one of these while you're out riding with a group. The more I write this the less I feel like actually selling it. Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released
Wed, 18 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
