BMW F-Series description

This is a fully loaded 2013 F800GS. I am the second owner. I am reluctantly selling the bike because I haven't been going out on it as much as i'd like (as reflected in the mileage) and would like to free up some garage space. The bike has been babied while in my care. Always garage kept.
The previous owner bought all the aftermarket goodies and was into trail riding. Before the last owner installed the crash bars I believe he dropped it at a standstill and it scraped the side panel. Its a very cheap and easy fix to my understanding, it just never bothered me enough to replace it. Also the front rim is a bit scratched from the previous owner as he had to change the tire on a trail ride. Other then that its in great condition. Starts-up like a champ and is ready to tackle any terrain you can throw at it. The previous owner gave me 3 tires with lots of life left in them. One set is for dirt riding and the other is a spare front that looks like a 50/50 crossover. I also have the stock seat.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Aftermarket Upgrades include:
-Corbin Saddle
-Touratech Panniers (left & right)
-Touratech Grip guards
-Touratech Crash Bars
-Touratech Headlight Guard
-Handle bar risers
-The bike also includes a bag that goes on-top of the gas tank
-I'm not sure if the center kickstand is aftermarket or stock but its there and badass.

BMW Bounces Back with Record August Sales

Thu, 06 Sep 2012

When BMW released its second quarter report last month, the company reported a 4.2% decrease in BMW and Husqvarna motorcycle sales due mainly to a struggling European economy. The economic woes persist but BMW appears to be recovering, reporting a new sales record for the month of August. BMW reports sales of 7,400 motorcycles and scooters in August 2012, a company record for the month and an 11.3% increase from the 6,646 units sold in August 2011 and 14.7% more than the 6,405 units sold in August 2010.

BMW Helps Vertically Challenged

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

No matter where they go or what they do, it seems that people who are vertically challenged always get the ‘short’ end of the stick, pardon the pun. Historically, if a pint-sized person wanted to get into the hobby of motorcycling, their choices were limited to bikes like the Suzuki Marauder, Ninja 250 or HD Sportster (the thought alone makes my back hurt.) BMW Motorrad now has good news for riders who either need or simply prefer a lower seat height, but do not want to compromise on model choice. BMW is the first motorcycle manufacturer to launch a range of models that can be ordered from the factory with lowered suspension – to provide customers with low seat height options.

BMW Unveils E-Scooter Concept

Fri, 01 Jul 2011

As we expected BMW has revealed information about a new scooter model, releasing pictures of a new electric maxi-scooter concept. The BMW E-Scooter was developed with funding form Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development. The E-Scooter was created with two goals in mind: to offer performance comparable to a 600cc combustion engine-powered maxi-scooter and to offer sufficient range for an urban commuter. BMW wanted the E-Scooter to provide enough power and speed for freeway passing and climbing steep slopes even with a pillion passenger.
