BMW K-Series description

Amazing motorcycle flawless paint. Runs amazing. In perfect condition.  My history on this motorcycle is as follows: I purchased this motorcycle in December of 2011.  The motorcycle had some slight damage  ( see photo of side panel). The damage was very insignificant but I am a perfectionist when it comes to my vehicles.  I removed all painted panels and had them painted by my favorite body shop in Springfield, MA.  Ricks auto body.  They are perfectionists as well and have the it must be perfect attitude.  They painted all of the parts installed all new BMW decals and emblems.   ( Labor cost $2200.00. Decals and emblems in the $600.00 range.  Paint was around $400.00)  I also added side bags keyed the same as the ignition ( $700.00)  the paint is Glasurit the same as what the BMW factory uses.  Colors match what was originally applied to the motorcycle.  The damage was to the side panel as seen and a slight scratch to the engine cover ( see photo).  I believe the motorcycle fell over on its side stand in soft asphalt as there was no other damage to the bike.  I also installed a new Z-technik windshield ( $200.00).  I also put on a brand new Metzler rear tire ( $200.00) This bike comes with the cover pictured.  I changed out and still have the original instrument cluster because the chrome was worn and as stated before I am a perfectionist.  I completed the project and life got in the way of me getting it on the road with work and kids.  The bike has been stored inside in my basement under the cover for the past 4 and a half years.  In the end I have only rode this motorcycle 3 miles  to the gas station and back ( see odometer photo).  Bike runs awesome looks awesome and is ready for someone who will really enjoy the awesome look that this bike has.  This bike needs a battery.  I could put a cheap aftermarket battery in but that makes no sense to me as I have lovingly spared no expense on this machine.   Bike jump starts and runs as it should.
Heres the nitty gritty:  Deposit of $200 via PayPal within 24 hours of auction close. When you think of making a round-the-world motorcycle tour, you usually think of an adventure touring bike like the BMW R1200GS à la Ewen McGregor and Charley Boorman in “Long Way Round“. Sean Jordan, a Canadian expatriate living in Budapest, Hungary, had a different steed in mind: a Vespa P200E scooter. On Dec.

Fisker + Lego = the Lauge Jensen Viking Cruiser Concept

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

What do you get when you bring together the designer of the Fisker Karma and the great-grandson of the founder of Lego? The answer is this cruiser concept model by Danish brand Lauge Jensen called the Viking. The company was formed in 2004 by bike builder Uffe Lauge Jensen but later sold to industrialist Anders Kirk Johansen, the scion of one of Denmark’s wealthiest families and great-grandson of Ole Kirk Christiansen who invented Lego building blocks.
