Bike has 14,242 miles on it. 12,000 mile service performed at BMW Motorcyles.This bike is powered by a fuel injected 1172 cc engine with a 5 speed transmission and a reverse. It also comes with cruise control, ABS Brakes, heated seats for both rider and passenger. The passenger also has a heated backrest.Bike also has electric windshield, power center stand, GPS mount, an extremely loud Stebel horn, AM/FM radio and a CD player in the dash.There is also a set of Muddiman armrest for the passenger.Bike comes with one BMW key, a cover, manuals for bike and radio as well as a tool set. EICMA 2012: Bimota BB2 Concept Revealed with BMW S1000RR Engine

The Bimota BB2 concept is the first product of a new partnership signed with BMW that would see the German manufacturer supply S1000RR engines for Bimota. The S1000RR engine has class-leading numbers, with the 172.4 hp we measured in our 2012 European Literbike Shootout a 10.4 hp advantage over any literbike we dyno’ed for that shootout or the Japanese Literbike Shootout.
BMW Sells Husqvarna to Pierer Industrie AG
Thu, 31 Jan 2013The BMW Group has announced the sale of 110-year old Husqvarna Motorcycles to Austrian-based Pierer Industrie AG. “The BMW Group signed a purchase agreement with Pierer Industrie AG (Austria) for the acquisition of Husqvarna Motorcycles. The acquisition will proceed subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.
2009 BMW S1000RR Officially Introduced [Pics and Video]
Tue, 12 May 2009BMW has officially introduced their literbike contender: The 2009 BMW S1000RR. The pertinent numbers are a claimed 193 horsepower (at the crankshaft) and a 403.5-lb claimed dry weight. In a ready-to-ride form including fuel, BMW says to expect 450 lbs of weight.
