Wonderful 1964 r60/2 with 22,000 original miles. Starts first kick, idles perfectly, shifts and pulls through all the gears as its supposed to. Great riding vintage bike with a spectacular stance and appearance. If you've never had the pleasure of owning one of these you should, and if you have this is one you'll appreciate. Some will notice the handlebars are non stock( I love them) but can be easily changed at the buyers discretion. also the fenders have been painted at some point ( no pin striping) but the tank has that perfect original vintage patina. Everything works as it should. Bike comes w a brand new battery. Im selling because I do mostly long distance riding now on a more modern bike. having said that, I wouldn't hesitate to ride this bike anywhere for any amount of time if my 60 year old body could take it anymore. Since retiring from racing after the 2011 MotoGP season Capirossi has been serving as MotoGP’s Safety Adviser. That, plus his familiarity with the MotoGP paddock and its racing circuits, makes him the logical choice as an ambassador for BMW M, the German manufacturer’s racing-performance subsidiary.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.

In addition to increasing its traditional long-term level of support for the team, Comp-AŽ is sponsoring the distribution of specially designed (see image) 50th Anniversary shirts for several hours each race day from the Pegram Racing Transport / Garage area. A minimum of 1,000 shirts will be available for distribution at each race weekend.
