BMW Other description

2000 Bmw R 1100 R - ABS, Great running bike with Hard Bags, Ready for the trip of your life!!! - Note the 5.5-gallon steel fuel tank. Comfortable saddle. Trademark opposed. Boxer twin and driveshaft. Yep, there's no mistaking this bike for anything other than a BMW. As expected, it's got versatility coming out of the exhaust. Thanks to rock-solid handling and plenty of throaty torque, it can pull triple duty as a pick-up-a-gallon-of-milk bike, a corner carver, or even a mile gobbler. Think of it as an 80-horsepower chameleon.

40,000 bikers to descend on Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Fri, 01 Jun 2012

40,000 bikers are expected to head to the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen during the first week of July for the annual BMW Motorrad Days event and you can join them. Billed as a celebration of all things two-wheeled and BMW, the event gives you a chance to test ride all the current BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna models and see stunt-riding world champion Chris Pfeiffer and meet the BMW World Superbike riders. BMW have organised a UK rideout to the event and with over 200 places taken so far, time's running out to book your slot.

Hi-Def video of BMW S1000RR on the dyno

Mon, 15 Mar 2010

THERE'S SOMETHING rather cruel about ringing the nuts out of any bike on a dyno - a bit like poking a lion through the bars of a cage with a long stick... Anyway, not quite sure where I'm going with that one, so here's a rather lovely clip of BMW's much-lauded S1000RR getting a stationary pasting on a dyno. Not sure I'd be standing at the rear, mind you.
