5812 South Broadway I have a gorgeous metallic red BMW touring bike here. It has the full fairing that really blocks the wind. The BMW system cases are all 3 there. It runs great. It has only 41,XXX miles, but I will continue to ride it, so that will go up. This is the bike for the guy who stopped in last month and said he didn't like my BMW K1200 GT. He wanted an opposed twin. I still have the K bike for those who feel otherwise. Since this is my 4th BMW since last March, I get the feeling that I'm a frustrated BMW bike dealer. I love them too, but I'll part with these. I can be reached through craigslist email, but I don't check it as often as I should. There are also too many scammers and spammers using the email link. NHTSA Fines BMW $3 Million for Late Recall Reporting
Mon, 13 Feb 2012BMW has agreed to pay civil penalties of $3 million for failing to report safety defects in a timely manner to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. By U.S. federal law, manufacturers are required to notify NHTSA of safety defects or noncompliance issues within five days of discovering the issue.

30th Anniversary Edition BMW K1300S Announced for EICMA
Thu, 25 Oct 2012BMW announced it will mark the 30th anniversary of its K series with a special edition K1300S. The 2013 BMW K1300S “30 Jahre K-Modelle” will be presented at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy in a couple of weeks’ time. Though perhaps not as popular as BMW‘s R series boxer models, the K series served as a platform for a number of technologies that were either new for BMW or new for the motorcycle industry.
