BMW Other description

2002 BMW R1150RT, The 2002 BMW R1150RT is aimed squarely at the long distance motorcyclist. BMWs reputation for reliability and comfort has long seduced the touring motorcyclist. The ergonomics of it allow you to spend longer on the road before your body demands a roadside stop. The upright riding position is good for the arms and the back, and the saddle adjusts through three heights, making it perfect for the long, or short, legged rider. Why cant other bikes do that? This bike is quipped with the large capicaty bags, trunk bag, power windshield, heaolight cover, and telaleaver front end. This is one not to miss!!! This bike can be seen in our showroom along with some of our many other bikes located at 3924 State Street Bettendorf, Iowa 52722 or on line at brennys dot com. If you have any questions about this bike or one of our many others please feel free to contact us at 563-359-7333, Thank you.

Bridgestone BT-023 tyre tested

Fri, 19 Mar 2010

Replacing the BT-021, the 023 has a uniform carcass construction but has two different compounds of rubber to alter its performance. The inner rubber is harder for increased life while the rubber on the tyre’s edges is softer for outright grip. On the brief dry sections of our ride the 023 seemed to get up to working temperature rapidly and delivered good dry grip, certainly more than enough for most road riders if you are honest about your riding ability.

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

BMW’s venerable R1200GS has a lot of fans around the globe, including us. To my eyes, the GS does a fine job of maintaining a traditional dirtbike’s minimalist appearance, minus those bulging cylinders protruding from either end. But now more than ever, thanks to the introduction of liquid-cooling, the GS is a modern marvel of mechanical and electrical engineering.
