BMW C1-E Electric Scooter Concept [video]

The BMW C1-E, prepared for the European Safer Urban Motorcycling (eSUM), was designed to represent safe and environmentally friendly vehicles of the future. Like the C1, which was produced 2000-2003, the concept has a number of safety features such as a roll-over bar, energy-absorbing nose to soften head-on collisions and seat belts. Video: Corvette Stingray Takes on All Corners of the Globe at Willow Springs

The folks at Edmunds took the 2014 Corvette Stingray and put it to the test at Willow Springs International Raceway versus its usual competitors: the SRT Viper , Nissan GT-R , Porsche 911 , Porsche Cayman S , Ford Shelby GT500 and the BMW M3 . It looks like the "Stingray vs. The World" title suits the video well, given there is one car from Japan, a few from Europe and another one from the U.S.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
