2005 BMW K1200LT, The K1200LT has been BMW's ultimate touring bike for years. Loaded with all kinds of electronic gadgets, this bike is typical BMW. These bikes run very strong and good for WAY more miles than what this one has. The original owner added an aftermarket windscreen, luggage rack and some chrome bits. These bikes have am/fm radio with CD player, auxilliary riding, very comfortable seats, heated grips and more. They are shaft drive so super low maintenence! The touring accessory firm’s "Ambato Exp" tank bag has been on sale for a month but until now only in black or black and white. It features a model-specific base plate for quick-release attachment to the R1200GS, waterproof inserts and Cordura fabric described as “tear proof”.
FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013
Tue, 19 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.
