2007 Bmw F 800 ST, 800st - This bike has ABS, heated grips, on board computer, center stand, white turn signals, saddle bags and top case, additional driving lights, and Remus exhaust. It is in nice shape with a couple small scratches here and there and i little bit of corrosion on some of the bolts(see pictures). This middleweight definitely goes the distance. The twisties are yours to devour anywhere in the country aboard the new 85 bhp F 800 ST, which is the touring version of the lithe new F 800. With a full fairing, high windshield and touring oriented ergonomics with raised handlebars, bombing down any road you choose is as comfortable as it is thrilling. Two 320 mm diameter front brake disk and Brembo four piston hydraulic calipers, and with optional ABS every ride stopping power is guaranteed. Add optional touring cases and heated grips and youve got a bike that is fast, flickable, and above extraordinarily capable. No matter where you want to ride, the sharp-handling F 800 ST gets you there, mile after mile.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

IIHS Asks NHTSA to Make ABS Brakes Mandatory for All Street-legal Motorcycles in US

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the Highway Loss Data Institute have submitted a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration petitioning in favor of making anti-lock brakes mandatory for all new on-highway motorcycles. The letter, addressed to David Strickland, NHTSA administrator, included a recent IIHS study on the effects of ABS on motorcycle fatal crash rates. The report found ABS technology reduces the rate of fatal crashes by 31%, while collision claim rates were 20% lower with ABS-equipped motorcycles.

Pierre Leclercq has been appointed vice president and head of design at Great Wall Motors. Splitting his time between the company's studio in Baoding, China, and a Shanghai-based satellite studio, he reports directly to chairman Wei Jianjun. In his role he‘s responsible for the design of the brand globally and leads a team of 130 designers in Baoding as well as 25 in the Shanghai studio.
