BMW R-Series description

For sale: 1971 BMW R60/5 with a custom scrambler/tracker style set up. Rebuilt Carbs, new tank rubber pads, new BMW badges, new chrome Biltwell tracker bars, Biltwell grips, polished triple tree and clamps, new Shinko trail tires (less than 10 miles on the tires), Great reliable bike. Tank is not perfect.  Has one dent towards rider's crotch (pictured) and several paint chips that have been touched up.  We opted not to repaint this bike as it is set up as a 50/50 bike and might be prone to scratches anyway.  The transmission on this bike is a bit noisy but to be expected of an older model BMW.  I would guess the transmission bearings will need to be replaced in the future.  This however IS a daily driver ands never left me stranded.  A great reliable bike.   Factory specs below:
