BMW R-Series description

You are looking at a 1972 BMW R50/5. This is a nice example of a early /5. The numbers on the frame, VIN plate, and engine all match. Was parked for some time till I got it running to shoot the quick video of it going up the street, that video is in the auction. If you can't see the video please contact me and I will send you the link. I will still be listing her as a non running project, since the bike will need at least a new battery before running again. Gas tank still has original liner in it. The bike does have nicks, chips , scratches, dents and other signs of use, see 24 auction pictures and 46 slideshow pictures of the bike. I will now let my 46 picture slideshow I provided in the listing and the video do the talking. You must use a regular computer or laptop to see the 46 pictures slideshow and video.  They will not show up with apps, phones, or some tablets. Click on the view all tab at the bottom of the slideshow to see all the pictures.

This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like.  Bike comes with a title that will be open from previous owner. The bike comes with a clean Florida title from previous owner. What do you get when you bring together the designer of the Fisker Karma and the great-grandson of the founder of Lego? The answer is this cruiser concept model by Danish brand Lauge Jensen called the Viking. The company was formed in 2004 by bike builder Uffe Lauge Jensen but later sold to industrialist Anders Kirk Johansen, the scion of one of Denmark’s wealthiest families and great-grandson of Ole Kirk Christiansen who invented Lego building blocks.
