Up for Sale is a 1972 BMW R75/5 Motorcycle. Clear title. Does Not run. Looks Mostly original. 24,426 Miles. Built in 1/72. Matching Numbers # 2987941. It was last on the road in 2009. Motor turns over with great compression. Koni Rear shocks. Both front and rear brakes work as they should. Shifts through the gears, No signs of being down. No damage to the motor. Paint has some chipping on the gas tank. Inside is clean. Some chrome shows pitting, Worst part is the spokes. Headlight rim has a ding on left side. You receive what is pictured. Thu, 31 Jan 2013The BMW Group has announced the sale of 110-year old Husqvarna Motorcycles to Austrian-based Pierer Industrie AG. “The BMW Group signed a purchase agreement with Pierer Industrie AG (Austria) for the acquisition of Husqvarna Motorcycles. The acquisition will proceed subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.

Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200
Fri, 16 May 2014Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.
