Selling a beautiful, restored and updated BMW 1984 R65 LS. Stored carefully for years, until we took it in and had the following parts replaced by a certified (vintage) BMW mechanic. The owner was extremely meticulous and it is practically new.
New brake fluid Brake lines Slave cylinder Master cylinder Battery Tires New oil filter Fuel filter This is very much a collector bike, as the LS was a limited run of the R65 with a slightly different design. Please note- there is an aftermarket windshield, one of the small silver side panels has come loose, and the foot shifter is missing its rubber grip. Melandri has been riding the Husky TC250 in preparation for the 2012 season, whilst the winter testing ban was in effect. BMW Unveils E-Scooter Concept
Fri, 01 Jul 2011As we expected BMW has revealed information about a new scooter model, releasing pictures of a new electric maxi-scooter concept. The BMW E-Scooter was developed with funding form Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development.The E-Scooter was created with two goals in mind: to offer performance comparable to a 600cc combustion engine-powered maxi-scooter and to offer sufficient range for an urban commuter. BMW wanted the E-Scooter to provide enough power and speed for freeway passing and climbing steep slopes even with a pillion passenger.
