Condition:Bike is in excellent condition. I shipped back to the States from Germany after service commitment. I let my USEUR registration lapse in Germany before I moved Stateside so had to have a SURETY BONDED TITLE. I have proof that I had the Vehicle registered in Germany by me through US Armed Forces. No major scratches.

Features: Comes with Keyed telescoping removable touring hard cases. K&N filter and New Metzler M3 Tires last fall. All maintainence done with local BMW Motorcycle mechanic. After market wind shield.

History: Bike was ordered in Germany from the Factory American Spec. One previous owner(Military Member).

30th Anniversary Edition BMW K1300S Announced for EICMA

BMW announced it will mark the 30th anniversary of its K series with a special edition K1300S. The 2013 BMW K1300S “30 Jahre K-Modelle” will be presented at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy in a couple of weeks’ time. Though perhaps not as popular as BMW‘s R series boxer models, the K series served as a platform for a number of technologies that were either new for BMW or new for the motorcycle industry.

As a motorcyclist I’ve made it my duty to stop and lend assistance any time I see a fellow rider that looks like they’re in need, a sort of paying it forward mentality for the many times I found myself in need of a hand. In most instances the rider stopped on the road’s edge had pulled to the side temporarily to resolve an innocuous issue, but occasionally a rider genuinely needed my help. In either case the riders were grateful that a fellow motorcyclist was checking up on them.
