Up for sale is this 2008 BMW R1200 GS. Original Owner. The bike has been meticulously cared for and maintained. It has never been dropped or laid down, and is in excellent condition. Always garage kept and covered. Regular BMW maintenance always done on time, and has never had any mechanical issues whatsoever. MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study
Fri, 26 Aug 2011The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has started what it calls the first-ever naturalistic study of motorcycling, with 100 motorcycles equipped with data logging equipment to record real-world riding situations over the course of a year. Mon, 27 Feb 2012Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.
