BMW R-Series description

Ok to save reading time this 2015 GSA low suspension has all the bells and whistles. you can look up the model online and go over the specs for the bike or you can call Carolina BMW here in Greensboro and they can give you information on this Vin, I buy all my bikes there, Ask for the ower Jason or Andrew who knows the bike very well. In addition to the BMW installed items I've added the ADV bash plate, the ADV rear rack, pivot pegs, rocks risers, the side kicker adjustable kick stand, the neutrino fuse block, new Metzler tires, a sergeant front seat and BMW's GPS. this all comes with the bike as well as the stock items that were replaced with aftermarket (stock seat, kickstand , pegs etc.) As you will see from the pictures the mileage is very low at 3960 and still carries the Factory Warr until 3/20.

I am giving up this bike because as you can tell from the mileage i just don't ride much anymore, I took a final trip with some friends and trailerd the bike to Colorado and did an amazing week camping with them out there and a last trip on her.

Please only serious people contact me about the price and keep in mind I will not haggle on price below the starting figure, you will be getting an awesome bike for the money..

BMW Design Chief David Robb Steps Down; Edgar Heinrich Named Successor

Mon, 30 Jan 2012

David Robb, the man responsible for BMW‘s split-face motorcycle design, has left the German manufacturer. A native of Boston, Mass., Robb joined BMW as its design chief in 1993, and over the ensuing 18 years expanded the company’s product line to include the top selling R1200GS, the six-cylinder K1600GT and GTL, and the S1000RR superbike (that’s him on the far right in the picture above). The 56-year-old’s latest design to enter production are the C600 Sport and C650GT maxi-scooters.

New: BMW System 6 Evo helmet

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

BMW has released the new System 6 Evo flip-front helmet.  It retains the clean lines of the System 6, while increasing levels of comfort and practicality with a more scratch-resistant internal sun visor, a more robust visor mechanism designed to make operation with gloved hands easier, improved ventilation control on the chin, and a revised spoiler for better aerodynamics. BMW says it has a unique chin bar pivot which reduces the size of the helmet when the chin bar is upright. Weighing in at 1.57kg, the ECE 22-05 homologated Evo is a quiet lid, with noise levels registering at 84-86 dBA at 62 mph. The helmet comes ready for installation of the BMW Communication system, offering a Bluetooth connection to the BMW Navigator IV sat-nav, music players, mobile phones and other BMW helmets.

40,000 bikers to descend on Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Fri, 01 Jun 2012

40,000 bikers are expected to head to the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen during the first week of July for the annual BMW Motorrad Days event and you can join them. Billed as a celebration of all things two-wheeled and BMW, the event gives you a chance to test ride all the current BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna models and see stunt-riding world champion Chris Pfeiffer and meet the BMW World Superbike riders. BMW have organised a UK rideout to the event and with over 200 places taken so far, time's running out to book your slot.
