BMW R-Series description

1985 R80 G/S Excellent condition.  This is a NO RESERVE auction!    Circumstances are regretfully forcing me to sell my G/S. Over the past four years I have done the following; Converted to points and installed a new coil, Corbin leather seat, new clutch, front and rear main seals, push rod seals. 22,300 miles on rebuilt transmission with circlip (Anton). I rebuilt the carbs, installed new fuel lines and fuel filters, replaced cables and wires, cleaned all electrical connections. Stainless steel brake line. New master cylinder (not rebuilt). Galfer Green front pads. Odyssey battery, rain cover for the Corbin seat. Bike also comes with the original hard bags, seat, owners manual, and the original ignition. Hand guards, fender and side panels just repainted in August. Climb on and go anywhere! Adult owned well maintained and never abused. Always garaged.

What’s New With CRP Electric Motorcycles?

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

CRP, the Italian company who made a splash last year when it announced it would make a production electric motorcycle, has been strangely quiet lately. With no news coming from the team in Modena, Italy, we wondered, what’s CRP been up to lately? While not much has been said publicly for months, CRP has been working feverishly behind the scenes to strengthen its staff.

Works on Bikes: EX BMW

Thu, 22 Aug 2013

Take a 1991 BMW K100, put in a whole load of creativity and 99 hours of effort and you get this: the Works on Bikes EX BMW. Called the EX BMW because the two guys and girl behind this custom from Milan only kept the engine and part of the original frame. It uses wood, steel, laser machining, CNC and probably the odd bash with a hammer.
