BSA 650 Lightning A65L description

I have for sale or with just 1,667 miles on the
Bike/Motor since the 2012 restoration.
The oil in the motor, gear box and clutch compartment was changed with
a fresh set of spark plugs.

The bike starts first kick if you tickle the carbs and give one slow
kick to draw gas into the cylinders.
The frame and motor numbers are matching
The chain guard has been re-chromed. The frame is powder coated and
the gas tank and side covers were also painted It has the Boyer
Ignition System, new Lucas coils and a light weight Lithium Ion
Battery.

Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
