Very Easy Project.. Had same owner since 1972. Always stored indoors.. I recently took this bike from an old friend and I'm not familiar with these old Brits.. Bike is 99% there, No Rust, The Rims are very clean and Shiny..Some of the Chrome on the forks has some minor pitting ( Hard To Notice ).. Less than 2000 miles on Rebuilt Engine, Has Plenty of Compression, Has a minor dent on the right side of the fuel tank ( Hard to Notice ).. Shop Manual & Owners Manual go with it, and Clean Florida Title in Hand.. Everything this bike needs to finish are very inexpensive and easy to get online.. eBay has all the Parts needed Dirt Cheap.. List of what is needed: 1 or 2 Brackets, Pipe Clamps, 1 Tab, Air Filters, Both Petcocks, Rear Tire showing some very fine weather cracking, Front Tire is Like New.. Carbs need Tuned, Tune-Up, Oil Change, Tail Light, Battery, Pegs & Peg Mounts, a Kickstand Spring, Speedometer and New Owner who's Familiar with these Old British Bikes.. Paint to whatever color you like or leave the Patina.. This is more of a "Mechanic Special" than a Project.. You don't see too many of these BSA's around anymore ( A Real Classic ) .. Ride it to your Local "Bike Night" , everyone will be checking this one out... Or will make a Great addition to your Collection.. " SOLD AS IS " The Springs shown in the photos are for the Seat.. The Knee Pads never came with that model year.. They were added later on.. From what my buddy told me, The Fuel Tank, Motor and Oil Tank are Original..

The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!

Tue, 02 Jun 2009

According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run.  Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake.  Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

The revived BSA brand showed its first Gold Star model

Fri, 04 Mar 2022

At last we have a brand new model of the beloved brand: after the success of Royal Enfield and Jawa, the British BSA has returned to service. The single-cylinder classic Gold Star will enter the European market - a spiritual successor to the original company's lineup, but with a completely modern filling. The novelty is equipped with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, two overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, a working volume of 652 cm3.
