BSA Lighting description

This is an amazing bike!!!  It has been well taken care from day one!  It is all original accept the owner took off the original speedometer (still have original) and replaced it with a MPH speedometer.  This bike has 2006 Kilometers and 256 Miles ( about 2000 original miles)!  It does not run at this time because the battery is dead.  The owner passed away about 8 months ago and the bike has been sitting.  I had a compression test completed on all cylinders and they tested at 96!  This bike will run and run well with a new battery!  I have pointed out the only flaws this bike has and with some very minor work, it could look brand new!!!  This is not a survivor because it has been so well taken care of that it did not have to survive anything!  It also comes with some of the original manuals and tools (original tool bag is still inside behind side panel)!  As the owners health started to deteriorate, he would still go out and start this bike daily (it was his pride and joy)!!!  Good luck finding a nicer BSA than this one and yes it has a clean title!

The buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery and I do have a very reliable delivery service that I can give you the name and number.

I have learned that the valve cover and seat are not original from different buyers.  I have added pictures of the original valve cover that comes with the bike.  The original seat does not.  Sorry and thank you.

Billy Joel Has 1967 BSA Restored On “American Restoration”

Tue, 04 Jun 2013

The 1967 BSA Royal Star 650 has a special place in the heart of the Piano Man, Billy Joel — it was the first motorcycle he ever had. As time went on and Joel’s career blossomed, the love for motorcycles only grew. In fact, Joel even has his own motorcycle shop.

The Steve McQueen Desert Racer

Tue, 24 Mar 2009

There are few motorcycle icons within pop culture that have endured as vividly as that of the late, great Steve McQueen. A man who was at one time the highest paid actor in Hollywood, he avoided the limelight in favor of immersing himself within his passion for motorcycles. Never afraid of getting dirty, McQueen was at his happiest flogging a bike around the track with fellow racers or tinkering with the machines himself.

Wed, 06 Aug 2014

The 2014 edition of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show continued its now 23-year tradition as the premier outdoor streetbike event in America with producer photographer Jim Gianatsis moving the show this year to the beautiful green lawns of the Malibu Golf Course among the twisty canyon roads in the Santa Monica Mountains alongside the Pacific Ocean. Highlighting this year’s exciting activities was the emergence of another new and soon to be renown custom bike builder to the sport for which the Calendar Show is known for cultivating. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / ImagineVehicles.com motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.
