BSA VICTOR SPECIAL description

1970 BSA 441 Victor Special, Pazon Electronic Ignition, new coil, new Amal 930/38 carb, fresh oil change, timing set, new tires, new air filter, new fuel line, new speedometer rubber boot, kick start spring, light switch and sparking plug. This great example of a BSA Victor has been given a full going over, you name it we checked it! Pretty much a survivor bike, with the exception of the Pazon. Tank has a bubble in the paint right behind the filler neck (see photo), otherwise the alloy tank is in mint condition, the frame and panel paint and the chrome has some slight fading and scratches, it is a 46 year old machine after all! Included with the bike is a full set of replacement vinyl decals from "fromanothertime", purchased on eBay and an original parts book. The Amal carb that was fitted to the bike when I got it had an Amal 926, way too small, a correct 930/38 carb was purchased directly from Burlen Ltd. in the UK.
As anyone who knows these bikes is familiar, kicking it can be a bear, hence the nickname "441 Victim", this example is no different, it could start on the first kick, or it may take several!! It is also highly recommended that premium Ethanol-Free gas is used, older bikes and carbs don't like ethanol!!

This motorcycle is also being advertised locally, seller reserves the right to end auction early.

Any other questions please contact me through the eBay messenger only, to protect both parties interest.

The revived BSA brand showed its first Gold Star model

Fri, 04 Mar 2022

At last we have a brand new model of the beloved brand: after the success of Royal Enfield and Jawa, the British BSA has returned to service. The single-cylinder classic Gold Star will enter the European market - a spiritual successor to the original company's lineup, but with a completely modern filling. The novelty is equipped with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, two overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, a working volume of 652 cm3.

Man Builds Sidecar from Bathtub

Thu, 23 Apr 2009

Back in 1997, an unusual motorcycle appeared on the front page of the Bristol Evening Post. Unable to afford a costly traditional sidecar, bus driver Alan Iles of Bedminster opted to build his own, using a bathtub. Twelve years later, the 1959 650cc BSA is still going and has been ridden all over Europe to help raise money for Cancer research and various charities, for which he has raised thousands of British pounds.
