This build was just completed and road tested. This started out as a 91 HD FXSTS, everything has been redone to make it a vintage looking bobber. Have a lot of custom fabrication done to it. Motor is stock HD with 5 speed transmission. As you can see, looks nothing like the original bike. It has a clear HD title. Some major work done include Super E S&S carb replacement of the original CV carb, new Compu-fire ignition (the best in the market which I never had any issues on all my bikes), chain drive, hard copper oil lines, vintage Avon speedster tires, chopped HD springer front end (2" shorter than stock), Goodson Air Cleaner, and custom Hollywood bars, heavy gauge rear fender from Lowbrow, 2" Ultima open belt drive, forward controls, and many other modifications. A New Bobber From Victory?
Thu, 01 Dec 2011On its Facebook page today, Victory motorcycles released a teaser video for an upcoming model to be unveiled December 9 at 7pm CST. The video is a brief 43 seconds that begins with the sound of spray paint being shaken and black paint being “sprayed” onto the camera. What follows is a montage centered around pinstriping and boulevard attitude, as the video sequences between scenes of a man applying pinstripes to what presumably is Victory’s new model and POV shots of this machine rolling down a typical avenue.
