Custom built bobber by Billy Lane of Choppers Inc. Custom frame, 1983 FXWG shovelhead with S&S Super E carb, electronic ignition, RevTech 4 speed transmission, custom finned oil tank, custom leather choppers inc seat, custom sissy bar, custom springer front end made by Boyd customs, custom handlebars with internal throttle, Fat Daddy wheels 21 & 16", Coker tire, Performance Machine hand controls and calipers, Jockey shift foot clutch, Custom exhaust, hand made headlight from billet aluminum, mid control foot controls, belt drive. MANY hours of fabrication work! Please feel free to ask questions. Sold with bill of sale this bike hasn't been registered yet. Open to all offers. I can provide more detailed pics of any parts needed. I also have the tank panels for the gas tank. No title included.
I will sell without front end and tank for less or whatever options you may want.
Billy Lane did fabricate the frame mods, gas tank, oil tank, seat pan, rear fender & sissy bar. I did do some other work after he did to update the bike.

A New Bobber From Victory?
Thu, 01 Dec 2011On its Facebook page today, Victory motorcycles released a teaser video for an upcoming model to be unveiled December 9 at 7pm CST. The video is a brief 43 seconds that begins with the sound of spray paint being shaken and black paint being “sprayed” onto the camera. What follows is a montage centered around pinstriping and boulevard attitude, as the video sequences between scenes of a man applying pinstripes to what presumably is Victory’s new model and POV shots of this machine rolling down a typical avenue.

Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow

Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
