Bobber Bobber description

This bike was built before the start of the entire cookie cutter custom bikes you see out there, built by some company and they all look the same. It has an Atlas Pro Magnum Frame, to hold the horsepower this motor makes. The motor is a combo S & S and Harley motor, with all of the good stuff mixed in. It is built with low compression flat top pistons because of the Nitrous. I've had this bike for about 2 years now, the nitrous wasn't hooked up when I bought it and I've had no interest in using it,It runs strong and fast without any help. All the parts to hook it up are there if someone wanted it. The NOS system is set up with a fuel pump and auto set back for the timing so when the nitrous is flowing the timing retards back so you don't break parts (NOS works like a supercharger and increases efficiency in the motor and hence needs less timing advance). The parts list:Arlen Ness PM Brakes, Paul Yaffe Carriage Works, Pro One Controls, Flanders Bars, Billet 4 U outer primary cover, Mikuni carburetor, Karata Belt Drive, Independent Gas Tank, Powder Coated motor, Harley transmission And many parts hand built. The bike has a brand new Dyna 2000 programmable electronic ignition. It DOES NOT have: Turn Signals, Horn, Speedometer. This bike is surprisingly light and agile. The original tires were just replaced with new Bridgestones, not because of wear but because they were showing signs of age,the bike was built in 2000.This is a beautiful bike in great condition. The original owner claims he had $60,000 in this build, and he gave me a pile of receipts from the build of this bike for 0ver $50,000. The bike has a clear title and is registered in Idaho. The reserve is set low, so don't bid unless you're serious about buying. Please dont hesitate to call with any questions or offers for trade or part trade. I'm in to vintage bikes, street trackers, flat trackers (especially Bultacos), hot rods, let me know what you have, you never know what I'll trade for. -Ron (208)642-1765

The Harbortown Bobber DVD Review

Fri, 22 Jan 2010

On the surface, The Harbortown Bobber by One World Studios Ltd. is a documentary about the build/restoration of a bobber bike owned by Scott Di Lalla, co-founder of One World, and co-producer/co-director of Harbortown. However, what I took away from the 75-minute DVD was that the film is less about the skeletal remains of a ’69/’71 Triumph rising from the ashes, and more about the people (characters in a film for sure!) that help Scott along the way to realizing his dream of breathing life into a bobber of his own.
