Sat, 25 Feb 2012Entrepreneur.com, the web presence of Entrepreneur magazine, has a feature article on Erik Buell and his Erik Buell Racing (EBR) company. While the article reveals some lack of knowledge of the two-wheeled world by overusing the term “crotch rocket” as the generic description for sportbikes, this is forgivable considering it’s coming from a publication specializing in small businesses and, well, entrepreneurs, and not motorcycles. The article otherwise does a good job of giving a brief but broad synopsis of Buell and the triumphs and tragedies encountered with BMC (Buell Motorcycle Company) — it’s a good primer on Buell if you’re not fully up to speed on Buell’s life in motorcycles.
Erik Buell Racing to Attend Motodays Fiera Roma
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Erik Buell Racing is continuing to expand its European presence by appearing at Motodays Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s largest motorcycle trade shows. Held March 6-9 in Rome, Motodays will be an important event for EBR’s plans to establish a European dealer network. EBR opened its first European office last month in the Netherlands, but Motodays will be the European motorcycle show debut of the company and its 1190RX sportbike.
Parts Unlimited To Be EBR OEM Parts Distributor
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Erik Buell Racing (EBR) announced today that it has selected Parts Unlimited of Janesville, Wis, as its distribution partner for all EBR spare parts for North America. Under the agreement, Parts Unlimited will stock EBR parts and handle order processing and fulfillment for EBR’s dealer network. “We selected Parts Unlimited as our distribution partner because of their highly automated operations, strategically-located warehouses and existing relationships with so many of our dealers.
