Whether you’re using it as a finely tuned track weapon or a daily commuter, the Buell Firebolt owes much of its handling prowess to the 52 inch wheelbase, 21 degree rake and 3.3 inches of trail. The aggressive geometry combined with the rigid chassis makes the Firebolt nimble and precise. Up front, the sportfighter features a fully adjustable Showa® inverted fork while the rear is equipped with an adjustable Showa cartridge. The result is a sportbike that seems almost telepathic, effortlessly responding to rider input. Powered by a 1,203 cc Thunderstorm® air/oil/fan-cooled, fuel-injected 45 degree V-twin, this is the motorcycle for riders who demand a premium styled sportfighter with even more horsepower and torque. This bike only has 10068 miles and is ready for the open road (as long as its a very twisty road) Has just been checked out in our shop and runs and rides perfectly with no issues. Where else can you find a big bore sportbike for under 3k unless it has been dropped and dragged across the salt flats. Sun, 03 Jul 2016A small Spanish company called Bottpower, which specializes in custom motorcycles, has unveiled new photos and a teaser of the XR1R project, a track bike equipped with a Buell V-twin. It is known that the motorcycle is assembled on a titanium frame, equipped with advanced electronics, including three power supply cards, traction control and launch control, and its specific power is close to 1kg per hp.
Erik Buell Racing Teams with Hero MotoCorp
Wed, 22 Feb 2012In a case of East meets West, Hero MotoCorp has signed a partnership agreement with Erik Buell Racing that will see the Indian manufacture sponsor the EBR AMA Superbike team and potentially introduce Buell-designed motorcycles to India. Hero MotoCorp will sponsor riders Danny Eslick and Geoff May and their EBR 1190RS race bikes in the AMA Superbike Championship. Eslick will represent Team Hero while May will represent AMSOIL Hero.
