Buell Lightning description

What we have is a 1999 Buell X1 Lighting in Great Conduction. New Continental tires and serviced, at 6,500 miles. I swapped out the stock air cleaner for a Forcewinder, and carbon fiber fuel tank trim, and added Napoleon bar end mirrors. The bike also has a Vanes & Hines muffler. The stock body parts are included in the auction, and a 1999 parts and service manual, that states 101 horsepower @ 6000rpm and 90ft-lbs torque @ 5500 rpm. All lights/blinkers, &gauges work fine. This is defiantly a fun bike to ride and draws attention from sport bike, and HD riders, alike. All-American Team Entered For 2014 Isle Of Man TT

Two EBR1190RS race bikes will compete in this year’s Isle of Man TT. This is historic in itself, as never has a Buell motorcycle competed on the famed course. Making the moment more special is the fact both pilots are also Americans: TT veteran, and 2010 TT Zero race winner Mark Miller, and relative newcomer to the TT, Brandon Cretu.

Aaron Yates Joins Geoff May on Team Hero EBR WSBK Team

Aaron Yates is joining Geoff May in making the jump to the World Superbike Championship with Erik Buell Racing. The two Americans will ride the Team Hero EBR 1190RX for the bike’s debut season of international racing. Yates and May finished 8-9 in the 2013 AMA Superbike Championship for Team Hero EBR, with Yates edging out his teammate by a single point.
