Buell Thunderbolt description

Selling my custom Buell that I have owned since new. Right after purchasing we removed nearly all aluminum pieces and had them polished. Swingarm, calipers, triple tree, etc. Almost all hardware has been plated. Buell race module and Screamin Eagle air cleaner were installed. O2 sensor was updated. American Sportbike relocated pegs, shifter and brake pedals. Stainless kickstand and other goodies. I had Kooks Racing build me a custom stainless header with muffler. Paint is in great shape with the exception of paint lifting by fuel fill and a small chip on rear right see pics video. Bike has no issues have used synthetic oils since new, no leaks. New battery this year. Bike will not include timer cover, it was made for me as a gift.  Buy with confidence, a one of a kind Buell.

Erik Buell Racing Teams with Hero MotoCorp

In a case of East meets West, Hero MotoCorp has signed a partnership agreement with Erik Buell Racing that will see the Indian manufacture sponsor the EBR AMA Superbike team and potentially introduce Buell-designed motorcycles to India. Hero MotoCorp will sponsor riders Danny Eslick and Geoff May and their EBR 1190RS race bikes in the AMA Superbike Championship. Eslick will represent Team Hero while May will represent AMSOIL Hero.

Update Nov 13: Last Buell Motorcycle Rolls Off the Line An emotional Erik Buell has posted a video on the Buell Motorcycle site officially announcing that Harley-Davidson has shut down all Buell motorcycle production.  Harley-Davidson will honor all warranties for Buell owners, Buell dealers will still be selling the limited supply of bikes that are currently on hand.  Visit Motorcycle.com News for more details. Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli

Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned  investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.
