This Spyder has just a little over 3000 miles and is in excellent condition. I have documents showing I took it in for the 3000 mile Break-In Inspection and maintenance. Neither of the two previous owners were into touring. Almost all the miles were ridden in and about small town Kerrville, Texas. Both owners (older guys of 60 plus) found the Spyder to be an expensive toy for just city touring. Fun but expensive. Original purchase was just under $30,000. I purchased it a month ago and decided it's not for me either (I'm only 78). Besides my wife hates the Cognac color which I really like. For the price I am asking someone is getting a real good buy. This is a no reserve listing , you bid it, it's yours. Notice the Spyder Trailer in the pictures, I will load the Spyder on the trailer and deliver it for free anywhere in Texas. Questions? 2012 Can-Am Spyder Roadster Lineup Announced
Mon, 11 Jul 2011Bombardier Recreational Products announced its 2012 lineup of Can-Am Spyder Roadsters. The 2012 Can-Am Spyder Roadster line consists of two RS models and four RT touring models. All 2012 models come with a new amber-colored display, with the RS models receiving an LCD screen while the RT models get a Dot-matrix screen.
2008-2012 Can-Am Spyders Recalled for Fire Risk
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Bombardier Recreational Products has initiated two recalls in Canada on Can-Am Spyder Roadsters for a risk of fire due to a leaky gas cap. One recall covers certain units from model years 2008-2012, which covers all prior model years since the three-wheeler was first introduced in 2008. The second recall applies to model years 2008-2010.
BRP to Raise CN$262.3 Million with Initial Public Offering
Thu, 23 May 2013Bombardier Recreational Products announced an initial public offering price of CN$21.50 per share when the company goes public. At that price ($20.83 in U.S. dollars) for 12,200,000 shares, the IPO would generate proceeds of CN$262.4 million (US$254.8 million) for BRP, the company behind Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft, Evinrude & Johnson outboard engines, and Can-Am‘s ATVs, side-by-sides and Spyder three-wheeled roadsters.
