OCC Rocks!

The OCC Band, which is composed of Orange County Choppers co-workers, will be featured in this classic rock compilation CD that was curated by Paul Teutul Sr.  One of the songs listed on the track list, “Summertime Blues”, will feature Paul Sr. on vocals.  The CD will also feature Judas Priest, Ted Nugent, Blue Oyster Cult and many more… New episodes of American Chopper will start on Thursday, October 22nd at 9PM on TLC, but it will be in the second show of the season on October 29th that will focus on the making of the album and the building of the custom bike that appears on the CD cover.  The OCC Rocks CD will be available in stores on October 27th and will sell for $12.98. The Ride of a Lifetime by Paul Teutul Sr.

According to the New York Post, David Letterman is a big motorcycle fan and could watch the same bike being built all week long. One of Letterman’s bikes did appear in the September 2008 issue of American Iron Magazine and he also wrote the forward to Paul Teutul Sr.’s new book “The Ride of a Lifetime” so I guess he walks the walk and talks the talk. If you don’t already know who Paul Teutul Sr.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
