Chopper Chopper description

*Terms of this sale*
1- The buyer must make payment. (a minimum deposit is required within 48 hours of sale).
No unusual money transfers, wacky tax avoidance schemes or scams accepted.
2- The buyer must take delivery. (pick it up or confirm shipping arrangements).
Any out of area or overseas shipping is the buyers responsibility.
These terms sound simple but I have found through experience that it's not always the case so it must be set in writing.
Anyone that can meet these basic requirements is welcome to buy this motorcycle.

This is a 2006 Big Bear Sled 300 Pro-Street Custom Chopper.
It features the S&S 100 CI Smooth Motor and a 300 MM rear tire.
The bike has a set of multi-color, multi-function Kuryakyn LED Lizard Lights as shown in the photos.
I researched many custom bikes (American Iron Horse, Big Dog, Redneck etc.) before deciding on buying a Big Bear.
In regard to quality, style and value they were the hands down winner.
The bike build was done by Lake Norman Choppers of NC. and construction time took just under 2 years.
After the build was completed it was used as the dealerships show bike for the 2008- 09 season.
You may have seen it If you were at any of the East Coast shows (Myrtle, Daytona, Laconia etc.) that year.
Even though the bike is a 2006 model year it wasn't registered or on the road until 2009.
I am the original and only owner, the bike has 3877 miles and is as beautiful and bad-ass as it looks, it runs and rides as it should and as you would expect.
Classic Black color with tastefully understated Black Widow Spider and web graphics.
A winner at every show its been to and draws a crowd everywhere it goes.
The best of everything on this bike, the oil is changed every 500 miles using Royal Purple Synthetic.
There are some minor scuffs and a few chips on the rear fender around the mounting points from vibration as shown in the 11th photo.
Also the chrome on the ignition cover located on the left side of the motor is starting to flake.

Features:
Clear, Clean Title in hand
S&S 100 Smooth Motor with Super E Carb, 103HP 113FT Torque
All Powder Coat
Baker Polished 6 Speed
300mm Rear Tire
Right Side Drive
Performance Machine Wheels, Controls, Brakes
Avon Venom tires
Martin Bros. Pipes
3" BDS Belt Drive
Internal Throttle Cable
Progressive Suspension
Sprotor (Sprocket Rotor)
Kuryakyn LED Lizard Lights
Performance Machine Hydraulic Clutch
Arlen Ness Mirrors
Original Owners & Accessory Manuals
All synthetic fluids used, Royal Purple, Amsoil and Bel Ray
Classic Black

A new Tsubaki Chrome O-Ring Chain and Yuasa high CCA Battery were just installed (some photos were taken before the new chain).
The bike is pretty clean right now but the shiny parts haven't been cleaned up since last fall so they really need a good  polishing.

All shipping arrangements and costs are the buyers responsibility !

Please message me with any questions about details, making payment, shipping or pick-up before bidding.
The bike is located in Mullica Hill in Southern New Jersey and is available for inspection by appointment.
I am close to Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York, near Exit 2 of the NJ Turnpike, Interstate Rt.95 and NJ Rt. 295.

Thanks for looking !

American Chopper Live Build-Off Returns with Paul Teutul Sr. vs. Junior vs. Jesse James vs. Fast N’Loud

Thu, 11 Oct 2012

Last year, the “American Chopper” TV franchise was reinvigorated by a special live show that brought in nearly 5 million total viewers and was the most-watched show among men of the entire TV schedule’s night. Called “American Chopper Live – The Build-Off,” the show pitted the Orange County Chopper crew against Paul Jr. Designs and the irascible malcontent Jesse James.

2010 Honda Fury: New Honda Chopper Motorcycle?

Sun, 30 Nov 2008

UPDATE (May 19): Official 2010 Honda Fury Pricing UPDATE (Feb 27): The Honda Fury Review is finally here!!! Some may baulk at Honda’s description of the Fury as “radical.” Sure it’s not mind-blowing in the way a $60K custom can be, but it’s worth noting that not even Harley-Davidson has produced a bike with a rake angle so stretched or a wheelbase as long. So let’s admit that, for the normally staid Honda, the Fury is radical.

The Ride of a Lifetime by Paul Teutul Sr.

Tue, 10 Mar 2009

According to the New York Post, David Letterman is a big motorcycle fan and could watch the same bike being built all week long. One of Letterman’s bikes did appear in the September 2008 issue of American Iron Magazine and he also wrote the forward to Paul Teutul Sr.’s new book “The Ride of a Lifetime” so I guess he walks the walk and talks the talk. If you don’t already know who Paul Teutul Sr.
