Resident Evil Inspired Chopper
Mon, 07 Dec 2009Capcom, the creator of the popular video game series “Resident Evil”, has teamed up with Savage Cycles out of Maryland, to create this zombie killer custom chopper. The project is scheduled to be completed in January, the limited bikes to be built has no price tag at this point but I am sure it will be steep. Check out some preview shots and a list of some interesting features. From the Capcom blog: The bike is low-slung and mean, armored but fast, with quick access to a number of “weapons” and items, such as an airsoft shotgun and pistol, “health sprays” and a combat knife strapped to the front fork.
Chopper Powered by Natural Gas
Fri, 29 May 2009Claiming to be the worlds first, the compressed natural gas chopper was unveiled in Orange County, New York, by none other than Paul Teutul Sr., of Orange County Choppers (OCC) who constructed the chopper for the Chesapeake Energy Corporation. Mon, 24 Nov 2008Normally when I think of a custom chopper, I envision something like Wyatt’s Captain America bike or even retro re-creations like the Harley Davidson Cross Bones. After all the act of chopping normally referred to forks and frames, not chopping wood. A unique ride recently added to eBay breaks from this tradition with a wooden hot rod built around the engine and transmission from a 1952 Ariel Square 4 motorcycle.
