Chopper Chopper description

This is my idea of a 70's style chopper. I built it from the ground up with that idea in mind. This bike is not going to be for everyone - it does not have any comfort features. It is a rigid frame bike with NO electric start. That's right... kick start only. No cruise control, no radio... just a radical old school bike. It does have some great things going for it - it is a starts easily, one to two kicks is all it takes. It handles very well, floats down the road, move your hips and the bike responds and moves with you. It also is awsome to look at! Chrome in all the right places and all HOK paint. I spent just under 19k on just the parts for this bike, the reserve is half of that. It's a great bike with a great look. Send me any questions you have.

Here are some of the parts used to build this bike:

  • Rolling Thunder rigid frame built to my specs, 6" up/ 3" out stretch with a true 50 degree rake.
  • Rebuilt 80CI Harley shovelhead engine.
  • S&S Super E carb
  • 5 speed Ultima transmission (with a HD gearset) with kick start conversion.
  • BDL 3" open primary.
  • Avon tires: MH90-21 front and 180/55v18 rear
  • DNA 80 spoke front wheel and Paughco 80 spoke rear wheel
  • DNA Sprockster rear brake
  • Redneck Engineering "New School" springer front end, built to spec for this bike.
  • Badlands Digital mirrors with full gauges.
  • Compufire Alternator
  • Wires plus wiring harness
  • Dyna 2000 ignition system
  • All House of Kolor paint (primer, base, top, flake and clear). The paint design was layed out by me (one of a kind).
  • 16" high ape hanger handle bars

Introducing I.R.I.S., the Lococycle, the Artificially Intelligent Motorcycle Assassin

Fri, 15 Mar 2013

Austin, Texas, based Twisted Pixel is developing a new video game featuring a sassy sentient motorcycle martial artist racing down highways and fighting an army of jetpack-equipped special agents. Yes, that sounds pretty silly, but it’s clear Twisted Pixel’s upcoming “LocoCycle” doesn’t take itself too seriously. That being said, the game looks to be quite fun.

American Chopper is Canceled

Mon, 08 Feb 2010

After six seasons, the run is finally over for America’s favorite dysfunctional custom chopper family.  The not so surprising news was announced on Saturday, February 6th by TLC. The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run. The show was already on its last legs due to all the family drama which includes a lawsuit between Paul Teutul, Sr.
