The known history includes the original sale in Indiana and three owners.

The current mileage is 6,643 and the bike was cosmetically restored to a high standard some time ago.

The factory engine seal is intact and the engine and frame stamps are all correct.

Original features include the rare Campagnolo wheels, shorter Ceriani front fork and Marzocchi shock absorbers, and Brembo twin bleed brake calipers.

But Kenny Gilbertson (AOR/Boast Plumbing), Leon Morris, and Robbie Brown (Ducati Manchester) were to push him all the way, with the front four riders each having held the lead by the half way point. Further back Mark Cheetham (Shorrocks Motorcycles) was trading places with ex-Champion Darren Fry (JHP/Buildbase Ducati) with Aaron Brown (Ladybirds Ducati) and Ricky Holden (Holden Racing) less that a second apart.
