Ducati Hypermotard description

Hypermotard S WITH ONLY MILES on the clock Comes with 2 keys and all owner manuals. This bike is State Legal. Listed below is some information of the bike but I m sure you all know what you are looking at. Cheers RobertThe Hypermotard was available in 2 configurations the base model and the higher specification S model. The more expensive S featured a durable low friction diamond-like cardon (DLC) black coating to the front fork sliders an hlins remote reservoir rear shock the same Brembo Monobloc brake calipers pre-owned on the lighter forged aluminium Marchesini wheels with a red pin-stripe Pirelli tires plus carbon fibre fork protectors timing belt covers front mudguard fender and tail exhaust side panels. These upgrades made for a kg (. lb) weight saving kg ( lbs) versus kg ( lbs) for the base model. To help with identifying the different models at a glance if the fork protectors are plastic and match the colour of the tank it s almost certainly a base model (although some base model owners change to carbon protectors). Last week, we wrote about Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden and Ducati’s annual Wrooom ski and press event in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy. While Ducati, Rossi and Hayden are under intense pressure to perform better in 2012 than they did in the 2011 MotoGP season, the Wrooom event provided the riders and the team a chance to unwind before getting back to work. Ducati has released a video featuring its two factory riders enjoying the slopes at the ski result in the Italian Alps.Watch the video after the jump of Rossi and Hayden riding a Ducati-adorned Ski-Doo and snowboarding.

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
