Ducati Monster description
This is 1 beautiful bike, with lots of upgrades including Fast by Ferracci carbon exhaust, Sargent premium seat, Scott steering damper, K&N air and oil filters, and various other carbon upgrades. Over $1500 in upgrades. Terrific condition. Only 9700mis on it. The "i.e." indicates fuel-injection. 2001 and 2002 Monsters are, in my opinion, the best of both worlds - new enough to be fuel injected, but old enough that they're not overly computerized. No magical red key, and no need for expensive Ducati diagnostic equipment to modify the engine.Unfortunately I just don't ride it enough to justify keeping it. Fri, 24 Aug 2012At Brno today Valentino Rossi had a positive session in free practice, finishing closer and within half a second of the fastest time set by Dani Pedrosa. With a best of 1:57.315 and only .457 off Pedrosa's 1:56.858 lap. But it's not just the time that is encouraging, it's the first time in a long while that Rossi has looked more like his old self on the Desmosedici. "I’m happy because we went pretty well today, and in particular, the gap to the front makes us fairly optimistic," Rossi said after free practice.

Thu, 17 May 2012Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
