Ducati Other description

Here is my listing for my fathers 1998 Ducati ST2. It has 27056mis on it. It has been under the care of Boulder Motorsports for its services. It has professionally sprayed and clear coated flames on the factory Metallic Silver on the fairings, tank, rear fairings and saddlebags. They are subtle and look great and receive compliments wherever he or I take it. The tires are in great shape. They are Michelin Road 2 2CT tires that have seen about one full season. There is plenty of tread left for a season or more of riding. No cupping or chunking anywhere on them with even wear. The exhaust is a D&D slip-on set and sounds AWESOME. The bike also has an upgraded ECU. The seat is a Corbin and also has a rear passenger seat-back that is currently un-installed. The under-seat Ducati tool kit is included. Also the visor is an upgraded Zero Gravity tinted visor. There is also two forms of tank protectors. 1 is seat mounted and removable and the other is the 'standard' adhesive 'ladder' type most all bikes have on them. I will also include a tank bag, a trickle charger and the extra keys. My father has given up riding at they young age of 66 because of knee issues. I guess his Cooper S will have to suffice...The bike has been garaged with him and myself and shares it with other Ducati SBKs. I am sad to see it go but I do not anticipate riding it much next season. A new owner that will respect it and treat it as it should is what I am looking for. Call or text with any questions or to set up a showing. Please leave a message if I miss your call. I will return it ASAP.. Mention the phrase 'Silver Duck" or I will consider your email or text as SPAM and not reply! NO TRADES PLEASE. Thanks again!Keyword: Ducati ST, ST2, ST3, ST4, VFR, Sport Touring, RT

Come To ‘Da Rossi’ For A Pizza And More

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

At 32 years of age, some might say that Valentino Rossi is edging towards the twilight years of his career. At least now he’s got something to fall back on once he hangs up his leathers, as he announced the opening of his pizzeria in his home town of Tavullia, Italy. In the meantime, you can be sure this place will be packed each race weekend.

Ducati Multistrada Ready for Serious Update?

Tue, 13 Jan 2009

This fabed-up image from a French magazine of what a new Ducati Multistrada might look like is more like a fable than fact. If nothing else, the Internet is great for generating entertaining rumors, speculative talk, spewing hearsay, etc, etc. With the exception of chatter on where the next lucky third-world orphan to be assimilated by Brangelina might come from, nothing seems to spread faster than talk of a venerated bike receiving a thorough update.

Ultimate biking dream ‘Part 2’

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

WHAT'S that adage again? Oh yes, ‘if you don’t ask, you don’t get.’ Well luckily we asked… And we got! You may have read our recent post where Visordown reporter Luke Bowler entered Bennetts’ ‘Ultimate biking dream’ hoping for some chain lube.
