Ducati Other description

Up for auction is this incredibly clean, low mile Ducati PS1000LE Paul Smart Sport Classic.

This Paul Smart comes with a Termignoni system and is otherwise stock, save for the accessory seat.

The bike is in near-showroom condition and has just had the 2 year service completed...it needs nothing.

And with only 1,953 it's virtually new.

This bike is 100% correct with zero issues, flaws or scratches.

We've had several inquiries about the tank. Currently there is no sign of warping, bubbling, etc. Tank has not been coated but looks good.

Over the last few years, the Paul Smart has become one of the most sought-after Ducatis in recent memory.

Not only is the Paul Smart a competent and capable road bike that's zestful and invigorating to ride, it's also a stunningly gorgeous object of beauty.

Based on a Sport Classic engine/frame combination, the PS100LE was built to commemorate Paul Smart's classic win at Imola on the fabled 750ss. The silver bodywork and blue/green frame was meant to conjure up images of the 750 race bike - only this model contains a 1000cc dual-spark lump and top-grade Ohlins suspension to compliment the single seat and clip-on bars.

The bike is styled in the fashion of the Ducati 750 Imola Desmo race bike that Paul Smart rode to victory, and the 1974 750 SuperSport it originally inspired. It is one of the SportClassic series designed by Pierre Terblanche.

Marin Speed Shop is the Bay Area's Premiere European Motorcycle dealership.

In addition to selling new Ducati and Triumph motorcycles, we also have a stunning collection of vintage and rare motorcycles for sale.

Our Ducati Master Technicians have gone through this motorcycle extensively and performed all services needed.

White-glove shipping to your door can be arranged as well as financing.

Tough battles at Brands in the 848 Challenge

Mon, 08 Aug 2011

The unique prospect of racing on both the Indy and GP circuits at Brands Hatch meant that Round 5 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge was very much a tale of two halves. Having already raced the Indy circuit earlier in the season, the first part of the weekend was going to be reminiscent of previous rounds, while the switch to the GP circuit would favour those few who had previous race experience on the longer track. A full schedule on the opening day of the round saw Mike Edwards (MSKWorks.com) top the qualifying table to claim his first pole position of the season with a storming 48.86 sec lap, despite a low-side reminder of how slippery Druids can be in early morning free practice.

Mugello: Track Facts

Thu, 04 Jun 2009

With the record setting MotoGP of Mugello finishing up this past weekend, Motorcycle.com takes a look at the high speed action on the track. Just as always, as Motorcycle.com continues to cover all the 2009 MotoGP racing news, The Sidecar stays focused on the tracks of this years Grand Prix season. Admittedly I don’t know that much about Italy.
