This bike was originally built by the well known Dyna Specialist, Southeast Custom Cycles. Its previous owner had them build the bike and has decided to sell this to do another project. This bike rides just as sweet as it looks! The custom grey paint with retro FXR style grahics is simple and to the point. The bike was custom painted at the time of the build which was approximately 3 years ago. The paint is in exceptional condition. There is only one very small knick on the rear fender behind the right hand saddlebag.....very minor but we try to describe our bikes as accurately as possible so there are no surprises. As you can see this bike was fully loaded with all the extras to give it the perfect ride and look. The original build on this bike 3 years ago excluding the bike itself was near $8500! Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
