Harley-Davidson Dyna description

Harley FXDC in showroom condition. There are no nicks, scratches or dents anywhere on the bike. Ridden less than 600 miles/yr, the bike had Mobil one oil and clutch changes at 500, 1500 and 3000 miles. It was never ridden in the rain or any other inclement weather. The Scarlet Red paint was an extra-cost option, as were the polished aluminum wheels. Other additions include Kuryakyn grips, tach, speedo visor, air cleaner emblem, axel caps, caliper covers, sissy bar, adjustable foot pegs, HD tag mount, dropped front turn signals to accommodate a Memphis Shades detachable faring, winged HD tank emblems, and a chrome belt guard. You won't find a nicer example anywhere. The bike is also listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to remove this listing if it sells.

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.
