2001 HARLEY DAVIDSON FXDWG DYNA WIDE GLIDE WITH LOW MILEAGE AND EASY DAMAGE. Damage: Front wheel (21"), tire flat, front fender, rotor, sliders?, missing headlight bulb and trim ring, right rear turn signal hanging, no key, really no rash on this bike aside from the front damage. I was told the only reason why this bike was given a salvage title was due to the highway bar mounting bracket torn on the center of the frame. As you can see in the pics, this is an easy repair.I would also like to mention the gas tank has minor damage on the right side top portion. Bike has Vance Hines exhaust, Mustang seat , clip on windshield and lots of chrome. I do have the bent highway bar that was removed.Bike runs excellent! Bike is being sold in condition "AS IS!" with a New Jersey repairable salvage title. Production date: 8-00. Please check your local salvage laws before bidding. Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
