79 shovelhead 1340 80ci. 4 speed trans. kick and electric start. taildragger fender. tank shift with clutch lever attached to the shifter. 2001 wideglide front end. engine and frame serial numbers match with clean title. original frame and motor and primary and alot of other original parts. new brakes. new tires. new battery. foward controls. i have all the parts to change shifter back to normal. oil changed with new filter. recently. chain drive . wet clutch with sealed prime. mini ape hangers. s&s carb. miles on bike are unknown the new speedo says 10k miles . its a antique that runs great so miles is not a issue with me. only 1 other previous owner. no issues with bike at all. Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2012 Results
Tue, 23 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $134.0 million dollars over the third quarter of 2012. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. The Milwaukee company shipped 52,793 motorcycles in the three months ended Sept.
