Real good bike that runs strong and pulls through all gears. recent upgrades include new front brake pads, rebuilt calipers, front fork rebuild, carb rebuild, new throttle/idle cables, new foot pegs, both forward and mid controls, leather saddle bags and pouch, new grips. added speedo and tach gauges to handlebar risers. all new fluids ready to ride. tires are in great shape with lots of tread. I bought this bike as a keeper due to the fact that FXR's are hard to come by but need to sell as I have too many projects now. 2013 Harley-Davidson World Ride Scheduled for June 23-24
Tue, 07 May 2013Harley-Davidson riders around the world will head out on the road June 23-24 for the 2013 Harley-Davidson World Ride. The event is organized by the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), but non-members are invited to join in to celebrate Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary as well as H.O.G.’s 30th anniversary. “Harley-Davidson is celebrating two big anniversaries this year, and the World Ride is a great way for riders around the world to celebrate them with us,” says Ken Knuteson, H.O.G.

First introduced in the 2002 model year, the V-Rod marked a new era for Harley-Davidson, with the V-Rod’s 1130cc 60-degree V-Twin Revolution engine, the Motor Company’s first production engine with liquid cooling and overhead camshafts. The 2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod line is equipped with the latest generation 1250cc Revolution engine with dual overhead camshafts, four-valve cylinder heads and fuel injection.
