Harley-Davidson FXR description

1999 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FXR2, This is a true collectors item. There were only 900 1999 FXR2s made. only 600 in Arresting Red. This particular bike is in exceptional condition with only 16743 miles and freshly serviced and new tires. The FXR2 is very powerful and smooth riding bike. It handles like a smaller model when you are riding turns and maneuvering and rides like a big bike when on the road. At 80 mph or higher you feel very little vibration at all mostly due to the rubber mounted engine. With only 900 produced you could be one of the few people to ever own this classic model. Don't miss this rare chance to own this famous classic!

Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Party Is Just A Week Away

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all.  Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world. One Anniversary tradition is the welcoming home of thousands of riders by Milwaukee area residents who stand on the city’s highway overpasses with homemade welcome signs as riders arrive in Milwaukee.
