Custom blue with silver flames paint. 16" apehangers (narrowed to match narrow glide forks) new tach / speedo. Owner fabricated custom exhaust & luggage rack. Forward controls, custom pegs, hand grips, clutch / brake levers. FXR wide tire kit with 150mm rear tire. New Barnett clutch in new clutch basket / shell. New Altenator, regulator, starter. S & S carb on Riveria forward swept intake. Progressive lowered shocks, all braided steel lines, hoses, cables. Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.

Next year’s Sturgis Buffalo Chip will once again feature the Student Build Challenge. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
