Harley-Davidson Other description

Up for grabs is my 1959 Harley Panhead , This is a great bike mostly all stock oem bike with a few modern upgrades . The motor is matching cases unaltered vin number fully rebuilt by my buddy Shane from grand canyon motorsports here in az ,I didnt build the motor so im not sure what flywheels he used if they are stock or truett and osborne but He has been building knuckleheads and panheads for 25 years . The bike has been sitting in my shop for a few years  so the motor will need properly primed before startup  and properly ran in .  the trans is rebuilt as well  . the motor has some upgrades , carb , oil pump and a few small parts .The frame is perfect and never modified or repaired , wide glide front end is nice ,original fenders ,wheels , bars ,grips , you get it ! I think the only non original parts on this bike are the fuel tanks ,seat , carb, primary belt and a few small parts.   The seat is a nice oem solo seat that has been recovered . This bike comes with all the parts I have for it in the photos , primary ,air cleaner, footboards, brake pedals etc . You will need a battery , wiring, and a few small bits to finish her up and you will have an amazing bike .The last two pics are of the bike on my table in my shop so you can see how nice the frame and engine are . They were taken a few years back during the build .  I hate to let her go but have moved on to other projects and need to downsize a few bikes to pay for others .Clear Az title in my name and customer must arrange transport , I will help on this end and get it loaded and ready to travel or you can pick it up in Flagstaff az at my shop fortbuehler restorations . any questions  call Bill 928 266 5823 . Thanks

Tue, 03 Feb 2009

Don’t think that Mr. Buffett is lending the American icon the money out of the goodness of his heart, he is receiving a whopping 15 percent on his money, at those rates I can lend Harley some money! CNBC.com Warren Buffett poses on a motorcycle at the Burlington Hathaway annual meeting in May, 2008.  Berkshire’s Geico subsidiary was promoting its motorcycle insurance.

Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump

Tue, 28 Apr 2009

Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history.  People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here…  Why not motorcycles?  Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes.  Personally, I think it  looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
