For sale 1963 FL panhead. This bike is clean and runs good. The bike sat for a couple years so i completely rebuilt the m74 linkert carb and replaced the battery and she fired right up and runs great. The motor and trans have been rebuilt but im not exactly sure of the mileage after rebuild.The engine runs good and is nice and quiet and has matching belly numbers. I cleaned the clutch plates yesterday and the trans shifts and goes through gears nicely. Clean clear Florida title and can assist with shipping worldwide. Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]
Wed, 14 Jul 2010The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family. Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners. Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. A news clip and some Probert highlights after the jump.
Harley-Davidson Offers “Steel Toe Tour” of York Factory
Thu, 23 Feb 2012Harley-Davidson is adding a new factory tour program offering visitors a personal look at the company’s York production facility. For years, the M has been offering free factory tours of its operations in York, Pa., Kansas City, Mo., Tomahawk, Wis., and Menomonee Falls, Wis., facilities. In 2009, Harley-Davidson introduced a premium tour that takes guests into “employee-only” areas called the “Steel Toe Tour” at its Menomonee Falls location.
Stolen Harley-Davidson Returned 17 Years Later [video]
Thu, 17 Dec 2009Stolen from his apartment in West L.A. 17 years ago, Warren Huff, thought his Harley-Davidson was gone forever. The bike was found in Valencia after a man brought the motorcycle in for inspection. The bike was stock originally but Huff gets the customized Harley back as is. Hit the jump to see the news clip.
